El premio se otorgo mediante el voto a nivel nacional de la comunidad de danza árabe ganando de entre 3 nominadas.
Maria Shazadi VISIONARIA, Organizadora del PRIMER Y MAS IMPORTANTE Concurso de Danza Arabe en TODA la Republica Mexicana con 6 años consecutivos, el PREMIO BELLYSHAZADI, contando como jurado a importantes figuras de la danza árabe en nuestro país y el extranjero, por lo que el premio es de gran validez curricular. Al evento acuden bailarines de todo el pais y el extranjero y se han visto enormemente favorecidos al obtener los primeros lugares.

Opening Concurso, Ballet Shazadi
Maria Shazadi acaba de lograr (al realizar el 6to Concurso Nacional BellyShazadi), subir a un nivel nunca antes visto la DANZA ARABE EN NUESTRO PAIS, realizando este evento en el TEATRO DE LA CIUDAD ESPERANZA IRIS apoyada por la Secretaria de Cultura del Gobierno del DF. Este teatro uno de los 2 mejores de todo Mexico. Dandole a la danza arabe la importancia que merece!
Ha participado como jurado internacional representando a México en el Concurso Bellydance of the World en ALEMANIA, en el Concurso Tito´s USA Tour en SAN DIEGO California, en Beiging CHINA en el Festival Internacional de Guo Wei y en REPUBLICA DOMINICANA en la famosa escuela de Vanessa Angulo.

Como bailarina Shazadi ha tenido infinidad de presentaciones en el D.F. y en toda la Republica Mexicana (Tijuana, Oaxaca, Morelos, Guerrero, Puebla, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Campeche, Durango, Toluca, Chihuahua y Guadalajara) e internacionalmente en ESTADOS UNIDOS (Nueva York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami), ALEMANIA (Berlin y Duisburg), China (Beiging) y Republica Dominicana.

Como GRAN maestra, su escuela desde hace mas de 15 años, cuenta con mas de 300 alumnas desde perincipiantes hasta profesionales. Su fuerte: la enseñanza de ritmos a traves de crotalos, ademas de enseñar correctamente todos los elementos de la danza árabe. Su especialidad, los solos de tambor.
Su estilo de enseñanza es dinamico, las alumnas aprenden rapidamente de una forma divertida.
Ha impartido SEMINARIOS INTENSIVOS en Guanajuato (Leon y Celaya), Campeche, Veracruz (Coatzacoalcos), Durango, Tijuana, Merida, DF, ALEMANIA Y CHINA.

Shazadi constantemente se prepara con los mejores maestros del mundo y cada año acude a Egipto a perfeccionarse.

Organizadora de viajes de estudio con sus alumnas a Egipto 2002, Marruecos 2004, Turquia 2006, Egipto 2007, Egipto 2008, Egipto 2009 y Egipto 2010. Anotate para dic 2012!! Acude con una experta a la tierra de los faraones.

Su formacion como bailarina la ha realizado en diversos paises: Egipto, Marruecos, Turquia, Nueva York, y en un principio en Argentina, Alemania, España y Brasil.

In Germany, she was invited to the Oriental Festival of Leyla Jouvana last year to perform and give several workshops to the european bellydance community. In China she was teaching to the asian community.
She is the most important promoter of Bellydance in Mexico City with National and International events. She has been jury in International Bellydance Contests such as Germany, USA and China.
Shazadi won the National Award Badiaa Masabni in Tijuana for her constant dedication to the art of Bellydance including her as a dancer, teacher and promoter.
She continiously organice study trips to Egypt to study with the best.
